Belle & Sebastian

Belle & Sebastian is such a good band! I owe this revelation to my good friend meg who knows just about everything about contemporary music and not only keeps me up to date with all the latest haps, she makes me look like not too much of a fool. Oops, looks like I should have her edit my web page as well, huh?

It's so nice to have a good, depressing band sing to you when you're just feeling kind of 'blah.' I personally cannot think of a better therapy when you've got the blues than a candle or two, a dark room, music like Belle & Sebastian or Mazzy Star (not to imply that these two great bands are anything alike), and a bottle or two of good wine.
Yeah, all that and no computer.
